Excavation Estimator
Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday
Rate: 75,000-100,000 per year salary (based on experience)
Location: Office in Maltby with projects throughout King and Snohomish Counties

We are a mid-sized excavation contractor serving the Puget Sound area since 2006, with a reputation for quality work and strong client relationships. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the success of diverse excavation projects, estimating heavy civil, commercial, and residential work.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for excavation and utility projects
Obtain and compare material pricing from suppliers
Meet with customers and visit job sites to gain a clear understanding of project requirements
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to support accurate and timely bids
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excavation estimating experience strongly preferred
Proficient in reading building and civil engineering plans
Knowledge of local building codes preferred
Strong computer skills, including Excel; experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, and project managers
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
